***UNITED GROOVES CHARITY EVENT***
United Grooves will soon be running its first Charity Dance-a-thon at the beautiful Shendish Manor in Apsley, Hemel Hempstead to raise money for the St Francis Hospice - it promises to be a fantastic evening with loads of activities taking place!! As well as a chance to experience a taster of the various dance styles United Grooves has to offer, there will be a range of stalls selling products such as jewellery, cakes, manicures, face painting and more…! PLUS you can enter into our special raffle draw with the chance to win some terrific prizes!!
There is NO ENTRY FEE for this event! There will be donation boxes and a raffle draw during the evening and ALL the money raised from the dance sessions and from the stall sales will be donated to the St Francis Hospice. This is an amazing charity and a very important cause to many people so I really do hope that you can come along and share in this event – have fun, feel inspired and raise money for an organisation that continues to do truly amazing work in our communities.
Below is a breakdown of how the evening will run and prices for the dance classes:
You can come and go as you please and all your support and any contribution will be greatly appreciated! If you would like to take part in any of the dance classes on offer (all ages and levels welcome!) the price is £3 per class and if you would like to do all four classes the price is £10 – remember, ALL the proceeds will go to charity, this is a completely non-profit event! You can turn up and decide on the evening what you would like to do and make your donation there and then, it is really that simple!
Event timetable:
6.00pm – Doors open
6.30pm–7.30pm – Street Dance Class
7.30pm–8.30pm – Bollywood Class
8.30pm–9.00pm – Raffle draw
9.00pm–10.00pm – Zumba Fitness Class
10.00pm–11.00pm – Belly Dance Class

There is a clear sign posted for Shendish Manor when you approach the turn into the driveway – PLEASE NOTE – you must continue along the driveway over the bridge and then keep on the same road until you reach the Manor.
PARKING:
There is a large parking area outside and around the main reception. There are plenty of parking spaces available so it should be no trouble finding a spot.
VENUE DETAILS:
We are very fortunate to have full use of Shendish Manors exquisite Conference room which holds a large capacity so there will be plenty of space for people to boogie, mingle and have a browse at the impressive selection of stalls featured around the room! There will also be a bar outside the Conference room where you can go for refreshments. The Conference room is right by the main reception area so just ask at the front desk where to go – if the music hasn’t guided you there already!
As I mentioned earlier, there are more details to come regarding the variety of stalls and the FANTASTIC selection of raffle prizes!!
